Based on my teaching experience for almost 15 years now, the most practical and useful software is power point. Maybe other faculty will rebut me with my ideas however, because i am always tied up with a lot of things-from my teaching tasks to administrative responsibilities; from business to family related activities; and from social undertakings to religious ones-i think power point is the most easy, useful, effective and efficient technology related instructional materials.

I agree with the conditioning theory of Pavlov, and the learning theory of Lev Vygotsky and John Piaget. Both of them believed that learning is a product of a system. In my case, the power point presentation is one of the instructional tools which help the students understand the lesson. Students who are exposed to the learning environment interact with the significant person-the teacher. I as a faculty uses the power point presentation. So, in this case, i am conveying lessons thru the use of significant instructional materials which help the students understand easily the subject matter.

Preparing a power point presentation is not time consuming. So i could use some of my time doing other responsibilities that i had mentioned above. I case i need some changes with the one i made, editing is easy to be done also. In case i want to keep the original presentation but i need some parts to be edited to be used to other course, i could do it also. Now that power point presentation converter is available in the internet for free, i may now convert some of my works into movies.

Though, there are other available software nowadays which can be used as aids in teaching-learning process, people are still using power point. For example presenters in seminar workshops. Most of their presentations are made out of the power point.
